There's very little you have to do besides pick up your phone and call us. Our customer service representatives have been thoroughly schooled in our proprietary laser engraving process, the artwork and permissions needed, and the quickest way to ship your chair(s) to you. Before you call, though, you may want to consider a few things.

(I.) If you are ordering a college chair with your college or university seal…

Be sure to let our customer service rep know that you're ordering for your college or university. In some cases, we can take your order directly here at the factory. In other cases, there are special permissions involved and we may need to direct you to your college bookstore or alumni association. Our representatives are thoroughly schooled in the requirements so give us a call for details. Here's what we'll need to process your order…

  1. The item(s) you wish to order.
     
  2. An idea of the personalization you want for the chair or lamp. The recipient's name and graduating year make the college chair unique and especially valued by the recipient.
     
  3. A credit card #.
     
  4. The date of your event or when the chair must be delivered. All items are shipped from our factory 4-6 weeks after receipt of the order. If we do not receive your order within 5 weeks of your Key Date, your order may require Rush Service. (See below.) Please add 2 weeks to delivery time if we need to get permission to use your college seal.
     
  5. The shipping address.
     

(II.) If you are ordering a chair with a seal for your institution, corporation, association, hospital or bank…

Whether you wish to order one or one hundred chairs, the process is the same - and so is the service! Don't worry if you don't have a seal: our art department has designed hundreds of them for all kinds and sizes of institutions. Here's what we'll need to process your order…

  1. The item(s) you wish to order.
     
  2. A copy of your institution's seal or the artwork for the seal - if there is one. Don't worry if you don't have one; our art department is ready to design one for you.
     
  3. An idea of the personalization you want for the recognition chair or lamp. The recipient's name obviously; years of service is frequently included. Their department, title, and any special wording are not obligatory, but often appreciated.
     
  4. A credit card # or a purchase order/authorization #.
     
  5. The date of your event or when the chair must be delivered. All items are shipped from our factory 4-6 weeks after receipt of the order. If we do not receive your order within 5 weeks of your Key Date, your order may require Rush Service. (See below.)
     
  6. The shipping address.


Rush Delivery Services are available. Please allow 4 to 6 weeks for regular delivery. (Be sure to add in UPS Ground delivery time.) However, if time is getting short, be sure to ask about our rush delivery services. You'll be surprised how quickly we can turnaround an order. We will work out a schedule with you that we will then commit to. Rush Service does require prior factory approval.

That's it. We will work with you first to arrive at the most appropriate, best looking seal and personalization. We'll then work out a schedule to ensure that you receive the gift(s) on time. Remember, we haven't missed a delivery date we committed to in years…and we don't intend to change that with your order either!
